It challenges the old systems by offering new ones:
distant, imagined, and deeply emotional.
Sometimes you listen to the rhythm of your lover’s snoring,
the strange tenderness of it,
as if it were the only thing that could save us,
casting soft green light into the dark room.
Other times, it’s the sound of ash,
birthing birds in branches.
We compose sounds that evoke moonlight pouring milk over hills,
threads of resonance pulling gently from a painting,
dreamlike, tender, slightly surreal.
Like the delicate lines water leaves on sand,
marks of something beyond,
written and erased in the same breath.
A silent geometry of memory,
etched by what touches and disappears.
It’s like when clouds turn into your projector screen
and your thoughts begin to roll
into a private film.
And if you raise your arms up,
they become soft bracelets,
resin traces of moments suspended in time.
